My name is Monique van Pinxteren. I have been practicing yoga since 2004. I find it very interesting to experience what yoga does to my body and mind. It holds up a mirror to me, it gives me physical and mental peace, strength and flexibility. I like to keep developing myself.
Among other things, the yoga philosophy teaches me to look more holistically at my own body. When there is physical discomfort, my body is telling me something. By turning inward I can see what that is, instead of turning outward and looking for it there. The peace and balance I strive for in my life give me the confidence I need for my inner search.
