Yoga Nidra session – Only in Dutch
A wonderfully relaxing start to the weekend.
Not having to do anything, just lying down, warm and cosy, sinking into your body. Listening to my voice and slowly sinking into your brain activity, experiencing a deep level of relaxation.
Yoga Nidra means “yoga sleep.
But it has nothing to do with sleep. During Yoga Nidra, your awareness is between waking and sleeping, a state you normally achieve only in your deep sleep. One session is equivalent to four hours of sleep. Therefore, after Yoga Nidra you feel refreshed and rested.

You can unwind at this beautiful location. Everything is fully taken care of so you don’t have to think about anything! With delicious Ayurvedic and sattvic food and daily yoga, meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques) and interesting lectures and plenty of space for relaxation.
The theme of this retreat is ‘Turning inwards’.
Topics include the purpose of life, techniques for meditation, how to calm the flow of thoughts, techniques for meditation, what you encounter in your process and how to deal with it.
During this retreat, you will have two Hatha yoga classes of about 1.5 hours each day. In addition, I will give lectures on yoga philosophy and provide breathing and meditation sessions. Thus, you will get more and more in touch with yourself.
Besides the yoga programme, there will be plenty of time to relax, in nature or on the beach, on the property itself like in the sauna and swimming pool, in the nice living room or taking a nap, everything is ok.
Check-in is possible from 6.30pm on Thursday.
You can pick your yoga mat or spot in the yoga room in advance and put your bag in the bedroom.
Please note, there is no dinner this evening, so make sure you have eaten something in advance.
At 19.30 we will discuss the programme.
At 20.00 we close this day with a short meditation.
Friday morning the programme starts at 6.30 with meditation in the yoga room.

There are attractively furnished double rooms with modern beds (single box springs) that can be placed apart. Some of the rooms have private bathrooms. The other rooms share one bathroom with a maximum of two rooms. There is 1 room with shower and freestanding bath.
One bedroom is still available for single occupancy.
